All are in favor OLD BUSINESS Labels for the books- The town did complete the task and they will be placed in books. The Poster contest is complete. The ABTF would like to thank Marge, Merle and Susan for making the certificates for the contest participants. Thanks are also given to Susan and Leroy for the list of names of those participants. Also, thanks to Mike and Joy for the letter they sent. The winners chosen by ABTF committee were: Cutchogue-1st Ainsley Brewer and 2"a Nikki Searles. The school had 30 entries and their teacher is Coleen Bruin. Greenport - 1~` Mazley Medina and 2"a Emily McInnis. The school had 21 entries and the teacher is Elizabeth Burns. Southold- ls` was Caroline Koslosky 2"a Steve Merino. There were 16 entries and the teacher is Kemieth Meier.. On June 18, 2013 at 4:30 the Town Boazd will give the awazds (cash from ABTF) for the everrt. Next years contest will include Our Lady of Mercy. There is a suggestion made by Leroy to continue our work by carrying the message of anti bullying to the upper grades possibly through the use of other mediums (music, skits etc). A date may be in November. Susan and Leroy got copies of the law. Susan makes a motion Val seconds to drab a letter to be sent in the summer to ask the schools how they aze implementing the law. Is the code of conduct updated to reflect the addendum to the Students for Dignity Act . (Chapter 4821aw of 2010 chap 1021aw 2012) all are in it favor. Carolyn, Leroy and Susan will do a draft to bring to the next meeting. SCHOOL REPORTS: Southold-No new report. Mattituck- no new report. Oysterponds-said they had too much to do to enter the poster contest at this time. Greenport- N o new report .POLICE: Members state there as notice of barricade at 7-11 Greenport and Cutchogue which may be related to immigration/labor1aws. ANNUAL PICNIC: r i The 4~' annual picnic will be held on August 24, 2013 at Strawberry Fields. The event will be held from 12-4 food will be served from 12:30- 3:30. Membership will solicit prizes on their own. The truck will be monitored for safety of food placement and removal from table. There will be a jumphouse, face painting, food and live music. i Nidya is translating the poster/flyer in Spanish. (201g/ 100 small). The banner will be hung on the fence once it is located. Handicapped space is to be designated close to the event. Members will offer to park I cars if necessary. There is a motion to close the meeting at 11:45. All are in favor.
