Located: 7025 Nassau Point Road, Cutchogue. SCTM# 111-15-10 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions are CONSISTENT with LWRP. If the action is approved, it is recommended that the Board clarify the species and planting methods proposed for the bluff restoration. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. Before answering the questions in Section C, the preparer of this form. should review the exempt minor action list, policies and explanations of each policy contained in the Town of Southold Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. .A proposed action wsll be evaluated. as to its simificant beneficial and adverse effects upon the coastal area (which includes all of Southold Townl. 3: If any question in Section C on this form is answered "yes„ or "no", then the proposed action will affect the achievement of the LWRP policy standards and conditions contained in the consistency review law. Cutchogue NY Pere~Bulkhead Proposed Scope of Work and Construction Details: 1.) Bulkhead: Rip out and replace existing bulkhead. Length: Approximately 100 linear feet Height: Approximately 6' Bulkhead was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Applicant seeks to rebuild new bulkhead landward of existing bulkhead, moving it upland approximately 10'. By doing so the beach area will be expanded by approximately 1,000 square feet and the new bulkhead will be in line with and tied into the bulkhead to the North and tied into the neighboring bulkhead to the south. The existing bulkhead extends further seaward currently and the goal is to bring it back, (upland) from the beach and properly tie into the adjacent bulkheads.
