CHARLES DANIELS, residing at 275 Old Colchester Road, Amston, Connecticut
06231, party of the second part,
Witnesseth, that the party of the first part, for no consideration, does hereby grant and
release unto the party of the second part, his heirs or successors and assigns forever,
ALL THAT CERTAIN PLOT, PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAND, with the buildings and
improvements thereon erected, situated, lying and being at Fishers Island, Town of Southold,
County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
COMMENCING at a merestone located on the Southerly side of Montauk Avenue, which
said merestone marks the Northeasterly corner of land belonging to Charles E. Davis and
Margaret Davis, his wife, and also the Northwesterly corner of property of John P. Pickett and
Elizabeth McCloskey, the line extends in a Southwesterly direction a distance of 80 feet; thence
the line extends still further in the same direction a distance of 40 feet to Northeasterly corner of
land of Robert H. McLeod; thence the line turns to the right and runs along the Northerly side of
said land of Robert H. McLeod in a Northwesterly direction a distance of 40 feet; thence the line
turns to the right and runs a distance of 48 feet, more or less, to the dividing line between
property of Charles E. Davis and wife and the present described lot; thence the line turns to the
right and extends in Southeasterly direction a distance of 40 feet to the point of BEGINNING.
Said above tract contains 1,760 square rods, mare or less.
BEING the same premises conveyed by Annie Daniels to William Daniels by Deed dated
November 17, 1967 and recorded in Book 6265 at Page 159 of the Suffolk Registry of Deeds.
