2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal (S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber earti~ing that the solder used in system contains less than 2/10 of I% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate
of Code Compliance from architect or engineer responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.

INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application MUST be completely filled in by typewriter or ia ink and submitted to the Building Inspector with 4
sets of p[aas, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plaa showiag location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
arcas, and waterways.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced befbre issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in pa~ fbr any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Occupancy.
f. Every building permil shall expire if the ~ork authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of
issuance or has not been completed within I 8 months fi'om such date. If no zoniag amendments or other regulations affecting the
property have been enacted ia the interim, the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the permit for an
addition six months. Thereafter. a new permit shall be required.

Dear Mr. Read:
The Southold Town Planning Board, at a meeting held on Monday, June 4, 2012,
adopted the following resolution:
WHEREAS, this proposal is for a proposed 38' x 24' barn, to be used as storage for a
tractor for property maintenance, located in the Open Space Conservation Easement on
Lot 5 of the Standard Subdivision for Sterling Harbor, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Read is the owner of the property located at 550 Sterling Harbor
Lane, Southold, SCTM#1000-88-2-15.5; and
WHEREAS, on June 23, 2009, the Southold Town Planning Board accepted the
Agricultural Open Space Easement which states that the proposed location of a
structure is subject to Planning Board approval; and
WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009, the Southold Town Planning Board granted Final
Approval upon the map entitled "Final Plat Standard subdivision for Sterling Harbor,
Inc.", prepared by John T. Metzger, L.S., dated October 22, 2005 and last revised on
February 19, 2009; and
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2012, the applicant submitted a detailed survey of the location
of a proposed agricultural barn; and
WHEREAS, on May 21,2012, the Southold Town Planning Board, at their Work
Session, agreed to accept the location of the agricultural bsrn as illustrated on the plat

entitled "Survey of Property at Bayview", dated February 19, 2010 and last revised April
10, 2012"; be it therefore
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Planning Board hereby grants Approval of the

Bayview", dated February 19, 2010 and last revised April 10, 2012", and authorizes the
Chairman to endorse the map.

Dear Mr. Read:
The barn referenced above was approved as to its location in the Open Space
Easement Area by Planning Board resolution dated June 5, 2012. On May 22, 2013, the
Planning Board inspected the completed barn and found that it has been constructed in
the location shown on the plan stamped received by the Planning Board on April 25,
2012, and that the requirements for this barn outlined in the Open Space Conservation
Easement have been met.
Please note the following condition:
1. The agricultural barn's Certificate of Occupancy must clearly state that the barn
shall be used for agricultural purposes only.
Any changes to the barn require prior written Planning Board approval. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to call this office.
