Located:. 2404 Camp Mineola Road, Mattituck. SCTM# 122-9-7.20 It is my recommendation that the proposed actions are INCONSISTENT with LWRP Policy 6.1 (below) and therefore, INCONSISTENT with the LWRP. 6.1 Protect and restore ecological quality throughout the Town of Southold. B. Protect and restore ecological quality by adhering to the following measures. The proposed restoration plan does not accomplish the restoration of the wetland. The spacing and placement of the eastern red cedars and bayberry establish a landscaped buffer rather than attempt to replace the vegetation removed from the wetland. It is recommended that the plants be grouped and spaced throughout the wetland area to achieve a more effective restoration. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
