Proposed Wetland Permit for CHARLES RODIN

Creative Environmental Design on behalf of CHARLES RODIN requests a Wetland Permit to create a
seawater Surge barrier berm approximately 325' long, 24' wide, and approximately 4' at highest point
throughout the low:lying areas. Located: 70 Strohson Road, Cutchogue. SCTM# 103-10-16
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of
Southold Town COde and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards.
BaSed Upon tl~e information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this
department; as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions
are CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore CONSISTENT with the LWRP. Figure 1
shoWs that the portions of the property where the berm is proposed are located within the AE flood
Zone,

proposed actions that are subject to the Tovm of Southold Waterfront Consistency Review Law. This
assessmem is intended to supplement other information used by a Town of Southold agency in
