APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
This application must be filled in by typewriter or ink and sabmitted to the Building Department with the following:
For new building or new use:
I. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or
topographic featares.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal (S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains less than 2/10 of I% lead.
5. Commercial bnilding, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate
of Code Compliance from architect or engineer responsible for the bailding.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses:
I. Accurate survey of property showing all properly lines, streets, building and unusual natural or topographic
features.
2. A properly completed application and consent to inspect signed by the applicant. Ifa Certificate of Occupancy is
denied, the Building Inspector shall state the reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

Reference: Engineers Inspection of Floor System
Proje~ Location:Loeb Residence

Greenport, NY 11944
To Whom It May Concern:
In reference to the Loeb Residence, located at 1050 North Road, Greenport, NY.
A visual inspection has been performed at this residence on the floor system of the 1850
farm house and the following items were noted.
Numerous existing floor joists were sistered with 2x6's, which span approx. 6 ft. to 7 ft..
The girders under the Kitchen were 6x6's posted approx. 4.5 ft. to 5ft apart.
The exterior foundation walls were constructed of field stone and the interior basement
walls were constructed of brick all appear to be in stable condition at this time.
Areas of the floor system may require sistering or re-supporting in the future if
new problems were to be noted.
Upon completion of my visual inspection of the basement area the floor system for this
1~50 structure is considered adequate at this time and no immediate hazards can be
determined.
