Continue effort for Hurricane Sandy clean up at Gull Pond, Laurel
Lake, Downs Farm, Arshamomaque, Arshamomaque Pond, Dam
Pond and Mill Road Preserves and other Town facilities.
Town Hall - Replaced damaged ceiling tiles in basement
- Installed air conditioners
- WD-40 all doors on the west end of the building
- Repaired Tax Receiver's Office door lock
- Repaired irrigation system
Fishers Island - Repaired Sandy Storm damaged dock
- Fertilized trails
- Measured all window at the State Trooper Barracks
Highway
- Repaired hot water heater in Mechanic Area bathroom
Beaches - Summerized all beach bathrooms
- Put out beach signs for summer
- Repaired lifeguard stands
- Klipp Park- pulled sand back to even out path and ramp surfaces
leading to the beach
- NS Boat ramp - rip rap installed to fill in hole at the end of
concrete line
Parks - Summer prep of all properties including weekly maintenance
mowing, weeding, fertilizing and clean up
- Mowed all trail areas at Preserves
- Installed dedication plaque at Stoutenburg Preserve
- Cleaned & spruced up Stoutenburg Preserve
- Bollarded well at Tasker
- Installed wind screens on tennis court fences at Tasker and
Cochran Parks
- Adjusted playground equipment at Town Parks
- Installed mesh netting over scoreboard at Cochran Park ball field
- Installed rock barrier in front of dug out
- Fixed and replaced where needed fencing at Orient, Cochran &
Mattituck Laurel Baseball Fields
- Installed 9-11 & Firefighter Memorial sign
- Repaired where needed all Town irrigation
systems
- Painted cross walk on Peconic Lane between parks
- Installed fencing around new ADA playground while new footing
cured
HRC - Installed awning at HRC
- Replaced handle on the handicap toilet at HRC
- Repaired irrigation system
Animal Shelter - Repaired washer
- Researched and presented on findings for installation of solar
panels on outside dog runs
Flushed out water system at Tasker and Laurel Info Booth for SCI-ID
water testing
Opened Laurel Info Booth for the season.
- Replaced silt filter cartridge, added hose bib, vacuum breaker on
storage tank & replaced toilet guts.
Cleaned up debris on Takaposia Road (Town property) and removed
downed tree
Open Greenport Info booth for the season - Replaced broken glass on front door.
- Replaced broken flag holder
- Fixed broken water pipe
Police Dept - Repaired leak in Lobby bathroom
- Repaired keypad lock
- Repaired Record Room door
REC
- Repaired lock on front door
Clean up at Brown's Cemetery
Installed American flags on Southold Village street poles
Repaired guardrail and replaced sand at Bay Ave, East Marion
