Subject: [New Sender - ] - Fwd: tree Hi Amanda, Here are the pictures of the tree located at the Burnham/Packard house on Madeline Avenue, Fishers Island. As you can see, it was a double trunk locust. Both sides are dead and one of the sides fell during the storm. I would like to cut up the downed trunk and also take down the other trunk as well so that it won't fall during the next storm. Eventually I would like to take the stump out. The tree is in the middle of my flower garden, about 50 feet from the back (north side) of my deck and about 30-40 feet or so from the wetlands line which is back by the birch tree in the background and just north of the bushes to the right of the birch. I hope to do this work over Thanksgiving weekend. I look forward to your permission. Many thanks, Steve Burnham 118 Parker Street Newton, MA 02459 617 795 1528 11/16/2012 Page 2 of 3 11/16/2012 Page 3 ot'3 1/16/2012 Page I of 3 Nunemaker, Amanda From: Nunemaker, Amanda Sent: Friday, November 16, 2012 11:11 AM To: 'Steve Burnham' Subject: RE: [New Sender - 1 - Fwd: tree Mr. Burnham, I have spoken to the President of the Board of Trustees, Jim King, and he said that it would be fine to remove the downed trunk and described tree without any permit. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
