application. He has decided to remove the upper deck and accept
the conditions of the previously issued permit from February
20~h, 2013.

At the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council held Wed., April 10,
2013 the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Doug Hardy, seconded by John Stein, it was
RESOLVED to SUPPORT the application of PETER COSOLA to replace 100' of
bulkhead with new vinyl bulkhead, 20' returns and 10' splash pad landward of bulkhead;
retain existing upper deck; replace stairs to beach, as needed; retain lower deck and non-
turf area behind bulkhead; and re-vegetate and restore bank behind existing wood
retaining wall.
Located: 430 West Shore Dr., Southold. SCTM#80-5-2.1

bulkhead; replace 20' returns, and a 10' splash pad landward of bulkhead;
replace stairs to beach; re-vegetate and restore eroded bank; the area landward
of the bulkhead to be subsequently maintained as a non-turf buffer area; for the
existing 18'x7' lower deck with wood bench and 15' long wood retaining wall on
west side of stairs; and for the existing 18.25'x27' upper deck. Located: 430
