The Southold Town Emergency Management Office recommends that all Town
residents residing in low‐lying areas of the Town prone to flooding/erosion
should evacuate to a safe location.
The following Southold Town Shelters will be available beginning on Sunday,
October 28 at 5 p.m.:
Mattituck High School
Southold High School
Greenport High School
Oysterponds School, Orient
Fishers Island School
Southold Town Human Resource Center, Pacific Street, Mattituck
A state of emergency will be declared as of 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28th.
