this program is extremely popular.

field use schedule, beach openings and issues with the Suffolk County
Department of Health, revising the field use application, a Mattituck Lions Club
Community Project at Strawberry Fields, building sign at the Peconic Lane
Community Center, and numerous other topics.
SPRING 2013 RECREATION BROCHURE: was an insert in the Thursday,
March 7 edition of The Suffolk. Registration for all programs and activities has
been steady all month long.
2013 BATHING BEACH OPERATING PERMIT RENEWAL
APPLICATIONS: The Suffolk County Department of Health Services'
applications to renew our bathing beach permits were completed and mailed out
earlier this month.
2013 BEACH/SUMMER SEASON: Preparations are underway to ensure
adequate coverage for all six of our town beaches this summer. Applications
were mailed out to last year's beach attendants, beach managers, lifeguards,
playground instructors, and swimming instructors. A deadline of Friday, April 5
was given so that I will know where we stand on employees for the summer
months.
