Project Description: /~'"~-~----~- CUTCHOGUE/NEW SUFFOLK PARK DISTRICT PO BOX 311, CUTCHOGUE, NY 11935 Board of Trustees April 12, 2013 We are requesting permission to replace a 160 foot portion of an existing boardwalk at our causeway beach at Nassau Point and repair an existing portion destroyed or damaged by hurricane Sandy. Attached are the emergency permit applications and installation drawings of the boardwalk sections. Most of the boardwalk sections have been salvaged and what is not reusable will be rebuilt to match the existing. All left over material will be transported to the town dump. No vegetation will be covered or removed to construct the boardwalk. The section to be constructed begins adjacent to the entrance shed running north toward the beach lavatory. I have attached a photograph of the area (looking north from the beach entrance shed). Drawings of the original boardwalk are on file at the trustees office with the original permit application.
