EMERY SCTM#1000-111-13-6 Lark & Folts, Esqs. on behalf of ELLEN F. EMERY requests a Wetland Permit to replace 100' of failed bulkhead with two 8' returns; replace 100' of failed retaining wall; and replace beach access stairs, alt destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Located: 5925 Nassau Point Road, Cutchogue. SCTM# 111-13-6 The proposed actions have been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that above actions are CONSISTENT with the LWRP. Note that the Board issued a permit for the bulkhead (in-part) in 1993, stairs and platform in 2011 and 32 sq. ft. observation platform in conjunction with the stairs in 2012 (all shown below).
