Moore, Esq. on behalf of INA HASDAY requests a Wetland Permit for the existing 140'+ bulkhead along Peconic Bay; to add a 25'+ return on the east side of the bulkhead; to construct 4' wide steps to beach; and to restore area landward of bulkhead. Located: 100 Macdonald's Crossing, Laurel. SCTM# 145-4-15 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided the following: Require that the 15' vegetated buffer landward of the bulkhead be restored. The buffer was required in Permit No: 7045A issued in 2009. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
