Re:
Proposed Wetland Permit for PETER KRANES
SCTM# 126-11-12
Natural Images Landscaping on behalf of PETER KRANES requests a Wetland Permit to remove
existing retaining wall; reinstall new vinyl wall approximately 163' long; and existing deck 7' toward
house. Located: 7480 Great Peconic Bay Boulevard, Laurel. SCTM# 126-11-12
It is my recommendation that the proposed actions to reinstall new vinyl wall approximately 163'
long is INCONSISTENT with LWRP Policy 6.3 (below) and therefore, INCONSISTENT with the LWRP.
6.3 Protect and restore tidal and freshwater wetlands.
Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the Southold Town Board of
Trustees laws and regulations for all Andros Patent and other lands under their
jurisdiction
Comply with Trustee regulations and recommendations as set forth in Trustee
permit conditions.
The structures described were not constructed pursuant to a Board of Trustees Wetland
Permit.
It is unclear what the existing deck 7' toward house is referring too. Please have the applicant clarify.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its
written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
