concerning location of accessory shed (without a building permit)~ at an
insufficient setback from bulkhcad~" Article XXIV, Seetion 100-244B.
RELIEF REQUESTED: Aeceaso~w building is for storage purposes only,
and is located south of an oxisting wood bulkhead (helow top of bank)
at a po/hi shown at an elevation approximately six feet above mean sea
level, and known aa r~ar yard. This 8~ x 10* shed building has
existed foe many years in this location, and is cantered at about 65
feet from tho northerly boundary property line, and 66+- feet from the
southerly property boundary lille.

REASONS/FINDINGS: Dwelling in its present location (built prior to
1957) is located leas than 30 feet from th~ closest ~top of bank~
elevation, and the r~ar yard is limited in size due to the nature of the
topography towatxts Little Peconie Bay. The variance requested ia not
untnaaaonable and w/Il not adversely affect tho ehagnactee of the
neighborhood, or the health, safety, welfaro of the community.

The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of
Trustees on Thursday, May 28, 1998:
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees grants an
amendment to Permit #4578 to supply water form main house to
south side of existing beach house for purpose of watering
plants required in above referenced permit and washing sand from
feet when returning to main house. No plumbing will be inside
beach house.
This is not an approval from any other agency.

Dear Mr. Manago:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on March 27, 1996 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, VINCENT MANAGO applied to the Southold Town Trustees
for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of
the Town of Southold, application dated March 7, 1996, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the $outhold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on March 27, 1996, at which time all
interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WH~, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREA~, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to
reconstruct 150' bulkhead, stairs and build a 8' X 10' storage
shed. Area will be planted with beach grass or some other salt
tolerant plant. Located 8225 Nassau Point Road, Cutchogue.
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination shoul~ not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit
issued within six months of the date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.
FEES: None.
