Thank you for your assistance on Monday attempting to locate the grandfalher permit for
Kimogenor Point After going through my fries, I think I can shed some light on the subject.
Permit number 2206, issued Februmy 26, 1987, which we discu.s~d on Monday, is indeed the
grandfather pem~;t for Kimogenor Point smmtures. I have included the following documca~L~
to help iliuslrate that contention:

Copy of a letter from Kimopgenor Point dated August 19, I987 requesUng an
amendment to permit 2206.

Reading permit 2260 c~efully, you will see tl~ the town is gramlng a l~,,1;t to Kimogeaor
?oim under the Grandfather Clause (a grandfather permit) for the bulkhead itemized on side
one of thc permit as well as the other stngtures listed ox the bottom of page two. The lext of
the permit nowhere indicates that it is a ~onstruefion or repair permit for the bulkhead itemized
on side one as you suspected when you exsmlned ii on Monday.

Enclosed please find a completed Grandfather Application and a
sketch of the work covering property of the Kimogenor Point
Company located in New Suffolk. Also enclosed is a map showing
the location of the property.
I have enclosed a check for the $5.00 filing fee for this
application.
Also enclosed is an additional check for $2.00 for which please
mall me photocopies of 4 permits (front and back) previouely
issued. Three of them are in the name of The Kimogenor Point
Company end one issued in 1984 is in the name of Ken W. Akeson,
c/o D. Weber.
Also if you have a copy of the letter you sent to all creek-
front property owners advising them of this permit procedure
I would appreciate it if you would mail me a copy.

Your recent request to a~nend the above referenced permit has been
reviewed at the Trustee meeting held on September 24, 1987..
Your request has been approved by resolution, adopted at this meeting,
to include 285 lin. ft. of bayfront bulkheading which was repaired and extended
over the life of the structure which was constructed in the 1920's.
This letter is an amendment to the original permit and as such, shah be
attached thereto.
All other terms and conditions remain as written in the original permit.

This project will repair damage to a wooden walkway at Kimogenor
Point caused by Hurricane Sandy. The walkway is 35 feet long and five
feet wide* and connects the Kimogenor Point clubhouse to a square
wooden dock located in West Creek to the west of the clubhouse. This
structure is permitted under permit number 2260, Kimogenor Point's
Grandfather permit (attached).
The walkway will be repaired as represented in permit number 2260
and as currently constructed. Cross section and elevation drawings of
the proposed repaired structure are attached. All structural features
including pilings, ledgers, joists, and posts will be cca pressure treated
marine grade lumber. The walkway decking and the handrail will be
constructed with untreated lumber. Fasteners will be galvanized steel
and stainless steel.
Also attached, please find a recent survey of the area, and associated
photographs.
* As indicated on the attached survey, the easternmost eight feet of the
walkway widens from five feet to approximately eight feet as it meets
the clubhouse porch.
