Project Description:
At this time we would like to request an Emergency permit to secure/restore the
Bluff on the property located on the sound TAX MAP 73-04-01. Attach'ed provides
you with pictures of the damage. We are requesting to sure up the base of'the
bluff with large sand bags. The sand bags are required to prevent any further
erosion and allow for us to provide +/- 700 cubic yards of clean fill to the
damaged bluff, we intend on hydroseeding the entire bluff with erosion control
seed and American beach grass plugs as well as erosion control matting. We had a
meeting with the DEC on 11/29/12 and it was determined then that significant
damage has been sustained during Storm.Sandy and require~ em. ergency
