Box 1179 5outhold, NY 11971-0959 Gentlemen: NOV - ? 2012 Enclosed is a Hurricane Sandy Emergency Application for authority to make repairs to the bulkhead at our summer home at 2662 Paradise Shores Road, 5outhold, NY, which was damaged during last week's hurricane. Much of the soil used to give ballast to the bulkhead was scoured out during the storm. Our property is contiguous to that of Alexander and Patricia 5znurkowski and our bulkhead structure is shared with them. ]~ understand that the 5znurkowskis have already received a permit to make the same kind of repairs as we propose (Permit No. 7929E). Z further understand that the fees for such Emergency Permits have been waived. ]] have attached to the Application copies of photographs taken last week by Mr. and Mrs. Sznurkowski and forwarded to us. We have been unable to find in our files a copy of the site plat nor do we have photos which adequately show the condition of the bulkhead immediately prior to last week's storm. The bulkhead, itself, was extensively rebuilt after the storms of December, 1995 - ]1996. A reference to that file, probably under my name or that of Costello Marine Construction Corp., would be helpful to you in evaluating this present application.
