Tuthill to place offshore stake with pulley line to onshore stake off private property at Orient Creek with permission of the owner, Ayes: Horton, Harris, Hataier, Nickles Stoutenburgh Vote of the Board: On motion made by Trustee Hataier,.seconded by Trustee Nickles, it was RESOLVED to approve the applications of William S. Gardner to place dock and dredge off private property of the applicant. It is~requested that the permit number be placed on the dock upon completion. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Horton, Harris, Hataier, Nickles, Stoutenburgh The application of Lawrence Prin~i~ato'was again tabled pending receipt of more information. On motion made by Trustee Harris, seconded by Trustee Stoutenburgh, it was RESOLVED to recommend to -the Southold TownBoard approval of Wetland Application #36 of Raymond W. Pluschau with the following conditions: . 1. The length of the bulkhead be changed to 58 feet or to the ramp whichever is less. ~ . 2. Hawkins John R: Lambert Mr. Wilbur Baldwin, Mr. Henry Steinbrecker, Mr. Carson Russell and Mr. HenryPraus appeared before the Board regarding a problem of the channel closing at Fisherman's Beach. Mr. Baldwin expla%ned that some years back a permit was issued for a buliahead, the bulk- head had collapsed before completion and the silt filled inthe channel. There had been a good flow of water before the advent of the bulkhead. After much discussion, it was suggestedthat the gentlemen contact Supervisor Martocchia to see if he can get the County to dredge it when they are down here. M~. Horton presented a change in the instruction sheet sent out to applicants. He would like placed on the back Article I Section 32-10 of the section of Boats, Wharves and Docks in the Code of the Town of Southold along with the addresses and tele- phone numbers of the Board of Town Trustees, Town Clefl~ Depart- ment of Environmental Conservation and U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, these representing the other government agencies that may have jurisdiction and whose approval may be required for any activity mentioned in Section 32-10. The Board was in agreement that this should.be done. Trustee Stoutenburgh brought up the matter of the proposed informational folder presented by the North ForkEnvironmental Council. Motion was made by Trustee Haris, seconded by Trustee Hataier and carried to send the folder with suggested changes on it back to the SouthOld Town Board, said folder to state "Offered by"the Town of Southold and prepared by the NOrth Fork Environmental COuncil, Inc.". Trustee Nickles registered a negative vote because he did not feel the Town of Southold should join with any private organization in th~ diSsemination0~ material. The next regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees will be held April' 3,' 1979.
