Youth Bureau: · Facilitated Youth Bureau board meeting and disseminated minutes. · Facilitated Youth Advisory Council meeting. · Attended East End Gang Awareness and Violence Prevention planning conference committee meeting. · Attended Suffolk County Youth Bureau Board meeting. · Attended Southold School Business Advisory meeting. · Meeting with Town Attorney and Jeff Standish to discuss possibilities of underwriting the printing of the Youth Bureau Resource Directory. · Attended Suffolk County Youth Bureau Directors meeting. Loss Control Proqram and Executive Safety Committee: · Facilitated final training opportunities for 2012 mandatory Workplace Violence Prevention and Bloodborne Pathogens. Community Development: · Meeting with Sarah Benjamin, newly hired director of CAST. Comprehensive Plan: · Attended three team meetings re preparation of Natural Resources chapter ONater Resources) and attended one meeting with the public. Economic Development: · Meeting with John Stype, Amy Burns, Heather Lanza and Leslie Weisman to discuss information for inclusion in "How to Business Guide." · Prepared agenda and minutes of January 18th Economic Development Committee meeting. Other: · Facilitated meeting with representatives from schools, Supervisor and designees of Youth Bureau and Renewable Alternative Energy Committee to discuss implementation of recycling in schools and other environmental issues.
