Moore, Esq. 51020 Main Road Southold, NY 11971 RE: Vineyard 48 Dear Ms. Moore: This office is in receipt of an application for a special event permit seeking permission to conduct fifty-eight special events from May through November of 2012 on the premises known as Vineyard 48. This application is virtually identical to a previously submitted application that was denied by letter dated May 4, 2012 (a copy of which is attached hereto for your convenience). It is noted that the only change in the recent application is the description of the nature of the event as "possible excess occupancy' as opposed to "DJ dance parties" in the prior application. The present description of the nature of the events is woefully inadequate and cannot be considered by this office. Additionally, it is clear that your client intends to conduct DJ dance parties on this site as advertised on its website and as previously applied for. This application is rejected in accordance with the grounds set forth in my letter dated May 4, 2012, and the check submitted for fees with this new application is herein returned to you. Please be reminded that any dance parties held on this site in the absence of proper Town approval will result in termination of the event and the issuance of Code violations. The Town also reserves the right to commence an action or Patricia C. Moore, Esq. May 11, 2012 Page 2 proceeding in a Court of competent jurisdiction to compel compliance with or to restrain by injunction any violation of the Town Code.
