RE: Single Family residence located at the northeast corner of Rt. 25 at Wickham
Avenue, Mattituck 13605 main Road
There is a house located at the above location that has reportedly been illegally
converted to contain 4 seperate apartments. The attic space of the house is also being
used for living space.
There has also been an apartment installed above the garage.
One postage stamp size property with 5 seperate living spaces. No fire escapes, no
sprinklers, no permits, no nothing.....totally illegal.
1 am a neighbor and am told that the owners are the Cardinales. 1 have been told that
they have little regard for the laws and do as they please in this town and get away with
it.
I guess I can convert my house to an apartment house, and convert the garage to an
apartment tooll
Please do something about this, they should at least pay 20K in property tax.
