Present: Rona Smith, Dan Sarnowski, Michael Herbert, John Vahey, Beth Motschenbacher, Frederick
Andrews, Eric Dantes, John Viterltti, Councilman Chris Talbot and Phillip Beltz. Excused/Absent:. LeRoy
Heyliger and Jeanne Kelley. Meetin9 began at 5:30 p.m.
Approval of Minutes: The minutes of December 12, 2012 were approved.
Resale of Properties at Cottaqe Way: Both contracts are proceeding with attorney
representation.
RFP: Despite initial decline of responses, two prospective developers have come forward indicting
an interest in developing apartments. There was a second meeting with one developer who has
significant experience working with tax credits and government subsidies. Greater details will be
provided as they unfold. If necessary, the RFP will be disseminated in the near future as "open-
ended" without a deadline submission date.
Proposed CPF Tax Exclusion for First-Time Homebuyers: Review of Fred Andrews and John
¥iteritti revised proposal, all in agreement with revisions. They will meet with the Town Board to
discuss on January 15th .
Developin,cl and Finalizinq Goals for 2013: In addition to previously developed goals, request
from the Town Board for HAC to offer informational meetings with the public regarding how to
create affordable accessory apartments. Possibly include the Family Service League HomeShare
program. Prior to next meeting, Phillip will email goals and objectives for review and additional
discussion at the next meeting..
