Foster a pattern of development in thc Town of Southold that enhances community character, preserves open space, makes efficient use of infrastructure, makes beneficial use of a coastal location, and minimizes adverse effects of development. The proposal, as designed, will not result in any adverse effects to the surroundinq environment in that the project will include improvements to a dwellinq that has existed harmoniously herein for over forty years without any form of adverse impact to the surmundinf:l community.
