The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning
Board, Monday, September 15, 1986.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board has reviewed
the set-off proposal for Joan K. Kaelin and Betsy Gibbs located
at Orient, and refer the following comments to the Board of Appeals
with regard to this application:
The proposed lots do not conform to the current two-acre,
however, they appear to be merged. The Planning Board will
hold this application until a decision is received from the
Board of Appeals.

Gentlemen:
At the request of Joan Kalin and Betsy Gibbs, I am
writing this letter to inform you that the previous record owner
of certain premises in Orient, on Henry A. Karcher, died September
11, 1983.
M~. Karcher left a will in which he left his Orient
premises jointly to Mrs. Kalin and Mrs. Gibbs. The will was
probated December 20, 1983 under file # 2089P83. Accordingly,
these premises before you for consideration are owned by Joan
Kalin and Betsy Gibbs as co-owners.
