Commencement:
· The meetin9 began at 7:10 p.m. with four LPC members present.
Adoption of Meeting Minutes:
· Acceptance of LPC meeting minutes from August 7, 2012
MOTION made by Anne Murray, seconded by Sam McCullough, to accept the 8/712012 LPC meeting
minutes.
Motion carried: 4/0 (Eric Keil not present at time of vote)
Land Preservation Applications and Inquiries:
· SCTM #1000-112.-2-1 & 2 (MACARI Property)
Review status of offer [executive session]
The members entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION.
Stephen Searl reviewed status of LPC offer that was presented to Joe Macari.

Update re: field inspection and status

Review status of land donation
Melanie relayed status update received from LPC attorney Mary C. Wilson regarding unpaid proper~y
taxes. Heaney Family attorney was contacted and he has agreed to pay 2n°half of proper~y taxes.
Once paid, closin9 document can be executed and recorded.
SCTM #1000-35-2-12 & 17.1 (ISLAND'S END GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, INC.)
New application
Melissa 9ave brief description of new application. LPC will discuss at later date due to time
constraints. Application will need to be brought before the Town Board.

· REVIEW CONFIDENTIAL MEMORANDUM FROM PLANNING BOARD [executive session]
The members entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION.
Contents of Confidential Memorandum from Plannin9 Board were discussed with LPC members and
comments will be sent to Plannin9 Board.
END OF EXECUTIVE SESSION
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: LAND PRESERVATION CHAPTER
Heather Lanza, Planning Director- 7:00 p.m. appointment
Plannin9 Board Director Heather Lanza provided LPC members with a Revised Land Preservation
Chapter Draft dated August ~15, 20~12 to the Southold 2020 - The New Comprehensive Plan for the
Town of Southold. Draft was reviewed by committee members and additional comments/revision
were made or requested. Heather requested that any additional comments be sent to her via e-mail
(heather. lanza(~town.southold.n¥.us) by Friday, August 24, 20~12 as revised draft will be 9c/n9 to the
Comprehensive Plan Team for review and revisions on Monday, August 27th. She anticipates that
Plan in its entirety may be 9c/n9 to public meetin9 by mid September.
Next Regular Meeting:
· The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Annex
Executive Board Room.

· The meetin9 was adjourned at 9:50 p.m. by the four remainin9 LPC members.
