LAND PRESERVATION COMMITTEE MEETING
MONDAY, MAY 7, 2001 at 7:30 p.m.
MINUTES
Present were: Dick Ryan, Ray Huntington, Ray Blum, Bill Edwards,
Melissa Spiro and Marian Sumner
Melissa sent a letter today to Mr. Aurichio confirming his verbal
acceptance of the .Committee's offer to purchase his property (56-4-16).
Manor Grove - 53-1-1.2 - Dick and Melisssa will plan to meet with Judge
Tedeschi again.
Blum - 75-5-1 - This closed on May 1, 2001.
Starkie - 96-3-2 - Applicant awaiting description re: set-off before
PDR closing.
Svec - 97-2-9.1 - Ray Blum spoke to him and told him approximately
what the Town was paying for development rights. He wasn't interested
in that price and felt this parcel was worth a lot more.
McGunni§le - 106-6-14 - Attorneys working on contract. It should be
in mail this week. No Planning Board action as of this date.
John Sidor - 107-10-6 - Gail Wickham caught up with Melissa. She was
hoping to pick up maps with the Health Department stamp today.
Elak - 115-8-3.1 - Melissa spoke to Gail Wickham. She was going to meet
with Mr. Elak.

Ernst - 56-1-11.1 - Melissa met with Ed Ernst on April 30th. He will
be sending in a survey map.
Marian Sumner discussed the County Projects with the Committee.
Cherepowich - 38-1-1.3 - Subdivision received approval.
Ghassemi - 31-1-1 - Offer under consideration, hasn't been accepted as yet.
Kortsolakis - 31-3-12 - Has accepted offer.
Neamonitakis - 31-6-28.1 - Offer has been accepted.
McFeele¥ - 125:1-14 - Offer is being considered.
Pollio - 108-1-1.1 - Owner considering offer.
Zimmer- 13-2-7 - County offer was accepted.
Melissa and Dick met with the Town Board and after some discussion, they
were asked to get appraisals on two properties-' Tuthill 17-6-6 and
Lettieri 31-5-1.2.
Ray Huntington drew up a draft application, which the Committee reviewed
and he asked that if anyone has any comments, to contact him before the
next meeting.
The next meeting of the Land Preservation Committee is scheduled for
Monday, May 21, 2001.
With no further business to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned at
9:25 p.m.
