property have been enacted in tile interim, the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the permit for ah
additioo six months. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required.

Project Description: To remove nine (9) deteriorating windows and one
entrance doorway on the enclosed porch and replace with new picture and
casement windows.
Findings: The project meets all the requirements for issuance of an
Administrative Permit set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code. The
issuance of an Administrative Permit allows for the operations as indicated on the
application received on Mamh 30, 2012 and project plan stamped approved on
April 18, 2012.
Inspections: Final inspection
If the proposed activities do not meet the requirements for issuance of an
Administrative Permit set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, a
Wetland Permit will be required.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

The Taylor Residence is a two story single family residence
located on the waterfront of G~-eat Peco~ic Bay in Southold Town,
the Village of Mattituck, a Zone R40 Low Density Residential
Area.
The project presented here involves the replacement of
nine deteriorated wood, double-hung windows in the porch facing
toward the bay; the removal of an exit doorway from the porch;
and the leveling of the porch floor to match the top surface
of the adjacent living room hardwood floor.
The intended replacement windows will include a selection
of casement and picture windows, Anderson 400 Series Stormwatch,
described on the attached Marjam Supply Co., Quote Report, and
located on the attached drawing.
Another attached drawing shows the porch floor plan and
details of the sleepers, insulation batts, and the T & G plywood
flooring to be provided and installed by contractor.
Two 8 x 16 Block Piers will be constructed under the porch floor
for additional support.

The following work is to be completed at the Taylor
Residence at the above address:
. Build temporary support wall to support porch roof.
. Drain down zone and remove base board heat on front
porch. To be reinstalled when woodwork is complete.
. Remove existing windows. And all intedor wood work on
three walls.
· Frame new openings for new Andersen windows. Install 2x4
studs to the bottom shoe for strength.
· Install customer's new windows.
· Finish outside window casing using Azek product for a long
lasting alternative to wood.
· Remove existing sliding door and tdm out opening to match
existing detail.
· Fabricate and install tapered sleepers to make floor level
with Living room floor.
· Insulate walls and floor.
· Install new bead board on walls under windows.
· Finish inside to match existing look with a window sill using a
finger jointed pdmed material.
* All debris will be removed and the entire area left clean.
Matedal & Labor = $9000.
