Suffolk Environmental Consulting, Inc. on behalf of PAOLO & JEAN BLOWER requests a Wetland Permit to construct an elevated fixed catwalk measuring overall 4' X 205' within the northern section of the subject property. All decking to be open fiberglass grating and elevated a min. 4' above the wetlands. Located: 5865 Soundview Ave. Southold. SCTM#58-1-3 16. Costello Marine Contracting Corp. on behalf of MICHAEL SLADE requests a Wetland Permit to remove 163' of existing wooden boardwalk to allow for the reconstruction of the existing bulkhead. Reconstruct 172' of existing bulkhead by re-sheathing landward side of bulkhead with "Everlast' 2.1 vinyl sheathing. Install new I"X 6' tie rod ends welded into existing backing system tie rods. Reinstall wooden boardwalk in-place after bulkhead reconstruction is completed. Construct an 8' extension to existing finger pier. Install two new 10' dia. X 30' long support pilings at offshore end. Maintenance dredge an area 50' seaward from the existing bulkhead to a depth of -4.0' below MLW on the east end and progressing to -7.0' below MLW on the west end. Approx. 350 cy. of dredged spoil to be trucked off site to an approved upland disposal site. Located: 1435 West Rd., Cutchogue. SCTM#110-7-26 POSTPONED 17. En-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of ALAN CARDINALE JR. requests a Wetland Permit to remove an existing accessory dwelling structure and attached deck, asphalt driveway, and leaching pool, and construct a one-story detached garage, pervious gravel driveway extension, and install drywell to capture and recharge roof runoff. SCTM#10-4-10 POSTPONED UNTIL MARCH 20. J.MO. Environmental Consulting on behalf of FISHERS ISLAND DEVELOPMENT CORP. requests a Wetland Permit to reclaim and repave East End Rd., which is a private road extending from Oriental Ave. eastwardly approx. 4.5 miles to the east of the island. The plan calls for reclaiming the existing pavement to create a sub base, replacing old culverts with new larger pipes, grading and repaving, with two courses of bituminous concrete. Existing unpaved storm water leaks offs will be improved with rip rap in areas not adjacent to freshwater wetlands and stone trenches and landscaped swales designed to accommodate run-off from a design storm will be installed in areas near wetlands. Areas adjacent to the road disturbed during the grading process will be Ioamed and seeded. In addition, proposed construction of an 8' wide paved or boardwalk path to follow the road alignment for an approx, length of 3.25 miles. Design plans proposed a corridor approx. 12' wide be cleared, topsoil removed, processed gravel base installed and a final 2" pavement course of bituminous concrete. Any disturbed areas will be Ioamed and seeded. In areas where the path crosses freshwater wetlands, an elevated boardwalk with open grating is proposed. Located: Fishers Island POSTPONED
