Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Fax (516) 765-1823 Telephone (516) 765-1800 APR MINUTES Present were: Dick Ryan, Jim Pim, Noreen McKenna, Reed Jarvis, Fred Lee, Brian Murphy, Melissa Spiro, Marian Sumner, Tim Caufield, Ron Goerler, Jr. and Reginald Tuthill. New application - the Committee reviewed the application of the Manor Grove Corp.-Arshamomaque wetlands. Dick gave a copy to the members of Circular 1150, Article 2$AA - Agri- cultural Districts of the Agricultural & Markets Law. There will be a discussion about greenhouses on Wednesday, April 12th. Joe Krukowski, Melissa Spiro and Dick Ryan have an appointment with Ed Ernst on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Any other members of the Committee are welcome to come. Dick asked each of the members to give the secretary their name, address, telephone #, fax #, what time is best to reach them and what sector is theirs. Ron Goerler application - Ron Goerler, Jr. was present, as his father could'nt be here because of a stomach flu. Ron said they are willing to accept the offer we made to them. Ron signed the acceptance form and gave it to Dick. The Town is willing to take on the cost of the survey. The Goerler family will pay for the set-off part. The surveyor will identify the set-off parcel and figure out their portion. Dick will get some fee proposals for a survey on this property. The Committee is happy that the Goerlers accepted the offer and Dick will ask the Town Board to set up a public hearing. -2- Tuthill property - Mr. Tuthill told the Committee that this property has been in the Tuthill family since 1640. It is located right on the Causeway in Orient. The Town has had a scenic easement on this parcel. The first easement was for 10 years and then renewable yearly. The Peconic Land Trust is helping the family in the rewriting of the easement for the family's needs. Tim Caufield explained the updated version of the ease- ment to the Committee. The Committee asked Jim Pim to thank his wife, as she did a great job on the language in the brochure. A motion was made by Noreen McKenna and seconded by Jim Pim to recommend to the Town Board the acceptance of the letter and the brochure. All were in favor. The Committee would like to recognize and thank all those who helped with the brochure and letter; namely, Noreen McKenna, Ray Huntington, Marian Sumner and J~m Pim's wife. Melissa Spiro spoke with Jim Burke of Suffolk County Real Estate about possible partnership with the Goerler and Caracciolo properties. He is going to look into it. Brian Murphy suggested Melissa send a letter to him with a copy to George Prios. Blue Horizon property - have found a private buyer.
