Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Fax (516) 765-1823 Telephone (516) 765-1800 JUtl I 2ffil SoutholdTownC dr MINUTES Present were: Dick Ryan, Joe Krukowski, Noreen McKenna, Reed Jarvis, Ray Huntington, Jim Pim, Melissa Spiro, Marian Sumner and Bob Jenkins. Doroski application - Bob Jenkins showed the Committee a survey map of the property. The property goes from Route 48 to Soundview Avenue. They will keep out approximately 6 acres, which is wooded. A motion was made by Ray Huntington and seconded by Noreen McKenna to have an appraisal done on this parcel. All were in favor. The brochures and letters to farmland owners will be going out shortly. Marian Sumner of the Peconic Land Trust is working with John Sepenoski of Peconic. The County is interested in this property. Contracts and applications: Schreiber - the architect is meeting with the building inspector. Cullinane - Marian Sumner said the contract hasn't been signed yet. Goerler - Still awaiting the survey. Ernst - they are too busy right now. -2- Lappe q is in contract to sell for big money. Kowalski/Custer - the transaction will occur with no conditions. It will be recreational use. Land Preservation Coordinator - they are trying to recruit a planner, hopefully by the end of June. Melissa will answer to the Town Board not the Planning Board. McGunnigle property - 106-6-14. She is offering it to one of her neighbors for $625,000. Half of it is wooded. It is a hard piece of land to develop because of high tension wires. Dick told Marian to have them put in an application. 2% Transfer Tax - Dick asked the Committee to read the information he handed out re: the 2% transfer tax for the next meeting and come back with some comments and ideas. The next meeting of the Land Preservation Committee is scheduled for Monday, June 19, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. With no further bus~ness to be conducted, the meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.  lly submitted, Wilkins
