Specifically, the reconstruction and expansion of a wooden deck in an area adjacent to a tidal w~tland. These are regulated activities within the Department's Tidal Wetland jurisdiction and therefore, require a permit from the Department. Conductin9 regulated activiti~s without the required NYSDEC permits is a violation of Article 25 ..,I the State's Env'ronmer,'~l Conservation L,.~w.
