Administrator of Building Department. The Administrator of the Building Department, also known as ~ ~ '"Town Buildinq and Planninq Administrator", shall be the principal executive officer and administrative head of the Building Department. §26~20. Councilman Gabrielsen offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilwoman Giqlio RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to publish the attached public notice to consider a local law to amend Chapter 108 of the Riverhead Town Code entitled, "Zoning" ([}108-56.1. Sign permits.) once in the August 30, 20i2 issue of the News-Review Newspaper, the newspaper hereby designated as the official newspaper for this purpose, and also to cause a copy of the proposed amendment to be posted on the sign board of the Town; and be it further RESOLVED, that all Town Hall Departments may review and obtain a copy of this resolution frem the electronic storage device and, if needed, a copy of same may be obtained from the Office of the Town Clerk. (1) Any sign legally existing on the date of adoption of this chapter of the Town Code may be continued, although such sign may not thereafter conform to the regulations of the district in which it is located, (2) No nonconforming sign may be reestablished where a nonconforming use has been discontinued for a period of .......... one year. (3) Any sign which was erected or placed prior to the adoption of §108-56 of the Town Code shall be considered a legally existing, nonconforming sign.
