a. This application MUST be completely fille, d in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector with 4
sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee accordiug to schednle.
b. Plot plan sho;ving [ocatiou of mot and of buildings on premises, m'elationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and waterways.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upou approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available lbr iuspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in pail for auy pnrpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Cegificate of Occupancy.
f. Every buildiug permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months a~er the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
propeay have been enacted in the interim, the Building luspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the pemit for an
addition six months. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required.

Mike:
The Town of Southold is purchasing property located at 68775 Main Road,
Greenport, NY (SCTM# 1000-53-1-1.2) from the Nature Conservancy, under
the Land Preservation Program.
We expect to close on this property in early September, 2012 and would like
to demolish and remove the house, barn, garage, a small "craft shop" and
miscellaneous debris ASAP.

The Town of Southold is proposing the following:
1. Removal and disposal of a two-story wood frame single_ family
structure (980 square feet), with partial basement.
2. Removal and disposal of a wood frame barn. (1,200 square feet),
w~t~ n~o basement.
3. Removal and disposal of a wood frame two-story g_~.~e (1,360
square feet), with no basement.
4. Removal and disposal of a small wooden ~uilding between the
g~rage anff barn.
5. Removal and disposal of a wood frame building (400 square feet)
6. e~-mmovai and'ais~Sal of a 275-gallon fuel oil tank in the basement
of the single family residence.
7. Removal and disposal of a 275-ga~llon fuel oil tank in the barn.
8. l~emoval and disposal of a 550-gallon fuel oil tan~k located in the
overgrowth area south o'~ the garage building.
9. Removal, disposal a~nd backfill the septic system located on the
west side of the single family reslfl~ce.
10.Removal of the on-site water supply well located in the basement
of the residence. A second well, located between the residence and
the garage building needs to be located and removed.
11.Removal and disposal of all discarded farm equipment and
miscellaneous and assorted debris in and around all structures.
12. Fill any necessary excavation with clean fill similar to the
ambient soil anti grafle tl~e pro-~r~y with clean top soil to mimic
the property contours, as part of the removal of the single family
house and partial basement. Seed the area with a fine fescue (i.e.,
Sheep fescu~e or Elijah blue f~scue)/annual ryegrass mix.
