By acceptance of this permit, Applicant agrees to adequately supervise and direct all perking to be on this site, and Applicant agrees to provide additional traffic controls necessary for this event. Z. One "on-premisas" sign not larger than six (6) square feet in size may be displayed not longer than thirty (30) days before this event, and removed immediately after the event. Directional perking signs shall be adequately displayed. 3. Applicant indemnifies and holds harmless the Town of Southold from all claims, damages, expenses, suits and losses including but not limited to attorney's fees arising from activities under this permit. A Certificate of Liability naming the Town of ~cuthold as an additional insured in the amount of One Million ($z,O00,000.O0) Dollars is hereby filed by Applicant, and said Certificate must renmin in full foree and effect during this entire event. 4. Tent proposals must receive prior written ~pprevol from the Southold Town BUilding Tnspector before placement on the property and must meet all fire and safety codes. 5. This permit is wild only for the time, date, place and use specified above, and for the designated event. Each additional day will require a separate permit application, fee, and related documents for review, etc. at least 45 days prior to this event. Page 2 - Winery Event Permit 6. Adequate tompo~ary sanitary facilities must be p~ovJded by applicant fo~ this event, and Applicant mjrees to remove the to~po~ary facilities f~om the premises within 48 hour~ of the day of the event. 7. No an-site food p~epa~ation is permitted, although food may be catered subject to all health regulations. 8. Events for three hundred (300) or mu~e people requi~e submission end approval of a t~affic control plan, acceptable to the Town. g. Violations in connection with this event will te~minato this ponnit. 10. Zssuanca of this po~mit does not authorize in any manner occupancy of the principal building exceeding the legal limitations under the fire cede, or other codes which would p~ohibit such increased occupancy. Two fire exits shall re~ain open and unobstructed at all times to building(s) on the p~pe~y. Music, when outdoors, is requi~ed to stap at S0:$0 p.m. 13. Placement of the spaake~s must be approved by the winery management. 14. Where possible, live bands rather than disc jockeys will be encaun~gad. When disc jockeys are used, the decibel levels will be monitored to ensure acceptable levels. 16. Organizers of the events will be required to use on approved disc Jockey recommended by the winery o~ have their own disc jockey sign a contract agreeing to the above. Zf they do not honor the contract, the winery will have the right to remove the disc Jockey f~om the p~mis~s. 17. Off-~oed packing will be p~ovided, either on the winery premises or at another site that is off of the ~o~d. Packing ussistonts will be p~ovJded by the winery for this event, when appropriate. 18. For events over 300 guests, o qualified t~affic controller will be peovided. Owner assures that all fire, safety, building, and other laws will be complied with. A duplicate of this permit must be continuously posted during the event. Please be aware that use of a tent will also require an inspection and approvals at least three days before the event, from the Building Department (765-1802). Thera are several conditions written into the permit. Please be aware that under the State Fire Code, the number of persons occupying the building and/or tent area is limited. The tent must be inspected by the Town Building Department before occupancy and may be reached at 765-1802 between the hours of 8 and 4 p.m. All parking and traffic controls are the responsibilities of the winery owner, the event operators, and their agents.
