There were present: Messrs: John'wickham~ Chairman, Henry Moisa, Alfred Grebes. Archibald Young, and William Unkelbach. Also present: Otto Van Tuyl,.Consultant,: and Howard Terry~ Building Inspector. On motion byMr.- Grebe,. seconded by'Mr. Moisa, it-was RESOLVED that the minutes of the-Sonthold Town Pla~g Board be approved as submittedl~ dated.October 15,, 1964. Vote of the Board: Ayes:-Mr. Wickham,~ Mr. Moisa, Mr. Grebe,. Mr. Young, and M~. Unkelbach. Southold Town P~nning Board ~2- Ne~ember 4, 1964 Mri Clement'Booth was present to discuss his proposed subdivision at. Tuckers Lane in Southold. This subdivision is about 8 acres and will contain 13 lots. There will be a large turn-around and Mr. Booth has plans of planting trees orflowers in the center. M_ri Booth stated that Greenport Village might be willing to extend theirwater mains to the subdivision, and this meets with the approval of Robert Villa of the County.Health Department. The Chairman advisedMrl Booth that~next he would need the Health Departments approval of the water3and ~sewage, Superintendent of Highways approval of the layout of the roads, and a statement from the Greenport Village Board stating they will extend the water mains~ if they'are going to extend them to the subdivision. Robert~Preston appeared before the Board in reference to the subdivision Fordhamacres. The Board was advised that the Health Department will not-approve the lots on the'meadow because of a sewage disposal problem. This subdivision would containapproximately 10 lots. There would also be municipal .water. Mr. Preston thoughtthat perhaps the meadow could be used for a p~vate yacht basin. The Board discussed the lay- out of-roads and the possibility of-maintaining a private right-of-wayin the subdivision. On motion by'M_ri Grebe, seconded by Mr. Moisa~ it was RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board recommend to the Town Board the following changes in the "Rules and Regulations for the Subdivision of'Land": 1. The base fee shall be changed from.S25.00 to $50.00 for the first 10 acres of the subdivision, andchanged from$2.00 to $5.00 for each additional acre over 10 acres. 2. On page 2, under PROCEDURES, Paragraph 3, the words "as Well as the Town Clerk" shall be deleted. 3. Under,.Section 5, P~ROVF/~ENTS~ item 2,. g shall b.e made ga, and there shall be another part-added to'be gb,~ to read as follows: Where surface is heavy loam or clay~ remove to sandy sub-soil and replace with two feet bankrun. Under' Section 5, //HPROVEMENTS,. item j, it will read: After the roads have been properly graded, .rolled and sh~ed to the approval of the Superintendent-of Highways, one gallon of' SC-1 (Bituminous -Cut Back) per square yard. shal~l be applied to the-24 foot section in the center of the h~ghway area. 5. On page 7,. under item t, it shall read: The minimum width of any 'pavement shall be twenty-four (24) feet. 6. On page 7, under item w, it shall read~ The minimum thickness for sidewalks, shall be ~4" of concrete at 1.2:4; or equal. 7. L~nder' Section 9, DETA'I~.S OF ~CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS, item 2, the words "and the Suffolk: County -Water :Authority", shall be de~ed.
