Edson~ Esq.~ and Mr. Schneider again appeared before the Board to further discuss the subdivision "Eastern Shores at~Greenport, Section II,'~ located on the N~rth Road, Greenport,~ New York. Mrs. Edson advised that'he had talked with parties connected with the Greenport.Water Company,.~andthere will be no problem in obtaining city.water. Mr.'~Edson advised that he would supply a letter of.intent for the 2½ acres to be set,aside for park'and playground area, and for the 200 feet of access to the water. The questionwas brou~/~t up~ if therehad to be exactly 200~ on the shore. The chairman advised that the Board would be as cooperative as poasible. Arnold Larsen was present,to urge the Board to make.their recommendation so that this may be set for a hearing by the Town Board. He stated that eight months ago the same offer~ for the property had been-made to the Cemetery"Association and they~did~not show interest, On motion.byMr. Unkelbach~ seconded by Mr. Grebe.~ it was RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board favorably from " " recommends to the TownBoard the change ofzone A ResidentialandAgricultural-District to "B~' Business.District on the property ofMartin D. Schluensen as describe~'hereinabove. ~he Planning Board has been in'contactwiththe Cemetery 'A~sociation and told them that~theBo~rd would like to' give them an opportunity.-to voice~their opinions. The Park'~District and another person interestedhas also shown interest in'this have received no communication from them. we must-assume that-they--re not,interested. Mr. Young feltthat the Planning Board should pass a resolution to require one acre H~wever, this can no~ be done~ unless the'Zoning ~rdinance is also ~amended to'require ,oneacre lo,so. A letter was written to.the Southold Town Board.advising them thatthe Planning Boardwould like to meet~with them and discuss the new~oun~yBoard of Health requirements in relation to sewage disposal and one acre zoning exempti~npr~vision,~ ~ith th~ theory.that theymight amend the zoning Ordinanceto require one acrezoning where neithermuni¢ipal water'and sewage. disposal is available. ~n motion by-Mro~ Wickham~ seconded by,ir. It is as follows: Mr. Zebzoski be ~iven approval of a proposed ~oad off the easterly side of~Waterview'Drive, suchroad to be in a subdivision which he will present 'in the future, as shown on the sketch by Julius'Zebroski as-planned. To further clearify it~_ it is the intention of the'planning Board onlyto locate th'at p®rtiOn of the proposed road which is immediatelyadjacent to Waterview"Drive. Therefore, it should'be pointed out that the minutes of November'24, 1964 are in error in connection with the property in question, Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mrl Wickham,~Mr., Moisa, Fir. Grebes. Young,. and Mr. 'Unkelbach. The Chairman advised that he had been talking to Mr.~ Williamsom, who holds the mortgage on the property where the subdivision, "Blue Horizo~s"~ is to be, located in~Peconie. Mr. Wil~iamson has certain covenants and restrictions-in his deed andmort~age with Blue Horizons.
