He has spoken with the owners of this subdivision but they refuse to-correct it. ~ne Plann-ing Board advised the Pausewangs t/iat this was not 'under their jurisdiction. ~ney would have to bring legal action against- the subdivision ~wners 'according to the N~Y~'State 'Penal Law. The Chairman is to consult the Town ' Attorney on the matter to see if there is any ~ay in which the Town Lcould help correct the pr oblem~ Mr. Van Tuyl presented the Board with_ a map of proposed division of property owned by Ed~ward C. Bo. oth~ located at Soundview Avenue~. $outhold. The two northerly lots fronting on th'e proposed road did not co~tain 100 ft, frontage, Mr, Booth arrived and submitted his formal application 'fo~ a minor subdivision to the Board. The Board o~ered several suggestions to ~iri' Booth for obtaining 100 ft. frontage got the two northerly lots' It was decided to widen the turn- around so as to gave these two lots each a i00 ft~~ frontage,' ~l~. Van ~Tuyl is to draw up a new map as such. Fee of $40'.~00 to be collected from Mr. Booth. On motion by'Mr~ Coyle~ seconded by Mr~ WiCkham~ it was RESOLVED that final approval be granted to minor sub- division ofEdward C. Boo~h,~ located on North side viewAvenue, Southold,. New York~i subject to Otto van Tuyl revising maP. This motion shall include authorization for the Chairman or' Vice-Chairman to sign map after it is-revised ~nd presented. On motion by ~lr~ Grebe,, seconded by Mr. Moisa~i it was RESOLVED that Cecil YOung be granted approval of minom subdlv/sion located on north side of' Pecon-ic Bay Blvd.~ Laurel, N~Y~i~. subject to revision of map and submitting formal ~pli~ion .and fee. If. change of zone is ob~i~ed$, t&his property will be developed into a marina~, 'motel~. res~aurant~ and resort complex. The Board feels t/~at this Would be an ~asset tO the Town. Dick Lark presented to the Board~ for their opinion~; a change of zone propobal for property 'owned by Henz-y Taca~,i located on N/E corner of Depot~-Lane and Middle Road ~(CR27)~, Cutchogue j(formerly owned by Edward Zu~oski) Said chang~ of~ zone will be from "A" Residential and_Agricultural District to "C" Industrial District~, .for the purpose of creating 'an "Industrial P~_?:~" ~If such 'change of zone is granted by the Town Board the plan for such m park would have to be approved by the County Health Dspt. before ~any building could commence. It would be preferaDle for such a park to contain'only indust- ries which would not produce 'any wastes. Larry Tuthill Pi~J presented the Planning B~ard with a bond estimate for the completion of roads in the subdiVision Sunset" El~olls,~ Section 'II,,~ owned by-Stanley '.SledJesk~% located at Mattituck,~,' 'N~¥i~,~i in the amount of $97,~3000, Mr~ ~Lark asked that this estimate be revised because he 'thought it was too high. Larry Tuthill PJA:E*' .presented the Planning Board with a bond estimate for the completion of roads in the subdiVision known as Will~ Terrace~, ,~wned by Robert' Doug!ass!~,~ located at Orient,~' N~'Yj~ in the amount of $8~:500~ On motion byMr. Moisa~!' seconded by Mr~ Raynor~! it was RESOLVED that the Southold Town ~lanning Board reco~m¥~end -to the "SoUtho~d To~n 'Bo_~.rd an estimated performance bond in the 'amount of $8~'580 for thee completion ,of r~oads in the sub- division ~Willow Terraee$~ At'Orient~3-~J~YJ Vote of the Board: Ayes:-Ail No action'was taken on the minor subdivision of Southold Development Corp. Dan' Smith is to bring in the lay-out plan for the,norhherly lots over which the adjoining property owners have .access to the water. Scut_hOld Town 'Plannk~ Board -6- August 5J~ 1969 FiShers Island Utility Co~ has submitted their final maps but we are waiting for their formal application and feel 'John W. Lee has paid his application fee. of $20% to the Board but has not forwarded the 2 extra copies of the map,' The Planning BOard was presented with~a letter received from Richard' Cron,r ESq. in reference -to the .'application of Wilsberg for subdivision at'.Orient, Several questions were raised at our last meeting concerning the area set forth as "Park Area" ontthe preliminary map: Mr. Cron~ informed us that the entire 'area designated as pa~k including the tip of the point itself Comprises approximately two and one half acres. In addition to the government easement of ingress 'and egress which runs along the Sound portion of the property there is an addit'iOnal government easement of 15 'feet in width'by 138 feet in length-along the Bay portion of the premises. The perpendicular line running from the end of ~hat easement to the access easement was only set forth for tie line purposes. The. Planning Board brought up for discussion the pro- posed subdivision to be known, as "Ca,yes Neck", located at Southold~ owned by George Aha.rs. Fin-al maps are to be ~de up by biT. Van Tuyl. On motion by Mr. Grebe,~ seconded by Fir, Raynor~, it was RESOLVED that Larry Tuthill P.~' be instructed to prepare ~a bond estimate for the subdivision ~'Calves Neck" located at';Southold~' Vote of the Board: Ayes:-All In. refe~-nce to the ~sub~iv~sion '"~recrest"-.owned by Valentine .Ruch~..located at. Greenport~. a bewaring is to be set ~up for final apprDval upon receipt of the final maps from Van T~.Uyl and apt~roval from the ~-County 'Health-Dept. Mr~ Terry presented the Board with a copy of the letter Supervisor 'Martocchia sent to ~LT~ Kuplesky at the OPC confirming our request for finan-cial assistance, Said letter contained a list of the scope of .services offered to us by 'Southold Town Pla~g Board -7- ~ August 5,1 1969 Raymond, May~, Parish~ & 'Pine in their letter of June 30,, 1969. 'The Southold Town Board has 'authorized John Wickham to sign the contracts with .OPC by resolution at their meeting of July 29,, 1969, .Copies of this resolution have been sent tO' OPCo The Public Information Meeting on MasterPlan scheduled for~Southold shall be heId at 8~00 P~Mj,.
