I would like you to waive any furthar requirements on that and I say the same thing for the next ~outhold T~n~lann/ng Board --7-- ~uly 6o 1960 application of Wilson Tuthill. 'My re~ons . I thi~k this subdivision and ~ Tuthill~s ~ ample facilities for recreational purposes~ iS in~ended for children ma~ly, I :will say that each of th~se sections ars in the Eas% CutCh~gue District and the school is rather close and 'has a fine Playgro,~d. Secondly we have c~m~lied with the requirements of the Health Department and ha~e lo-ts larger than required by the T~Wa ef Southold~ The 28~000 sq. foot lot is a fairly large lot and for the falrt~ modest homes 'which will ~o Up there~ ~J~ey will ~ave ample area for ~tze children's ~e. ureation. T~u will also notice we have provided quite a large area on the map going d~wn t~ t~ There is a 100 ft. frontage ~ere and I think tJaat s~uld he rece~,nized also. I will, say that was put in because we plan to have these r~ads de~htuated to the Town- As a matter fact we pian to haFe all the papers before the T~n BOard on next Tuesday and that is a r~qUiremen% of e_he~ Town f~r the dedi~ation of highways. By t~king those t~hree things all together ~n a small ~iopment ~ ~ould be inclLned to urge that y~u people find tha~ we have sufficient area there for normal recreational development. Of course~ on ~he Creek is boating and L/lttle Neck R~ad also goes d~wn t~ another any inland development would have_ F4~ statements hold true f~r both this development and the one of Mr. Wilson Tuthill. V~_n Tuyl reported tt~at he had spoken With Alden Young with ref~ren~e to the ~osSible route of the Expmessway and Hr. Young stated there is some chance itmay be located north of G~mmans. Mr~ Howard Terry~ Building Inspector~ read to the Ptanning Board his report on his attendance at the Annual Meeting of Conference of Mayors and other ~e~ipai officials and the Annual Meeting of the NeW York State BHilding Officials Conference at Rochester. The planning BOard commended Mr. Terry on hiS comprehensive report-- The B~ard discussed the method of assessment rela~ed to them on November 9, 1955 when Hr. Raymond Terry of the- SoHthold Town ~oard of Assessors attended their meeting.
