himself on Eugenes Creek and divide the remaining property into
building lotS. He asked the Board*'s opinion on a minor subdivision
of 4 lots. The Chairman stated that 4 lots is a little question-
able, 3 lots would be more likely. Mr. Koubek is to have the

stated that his chances may not be good. The Board discussed
the pocket formed on the adjoining property by the dredging of
the canal and filling ofthe lots. The Chairman felt that this
could be corrected easily and would not be too much of a problem.
Mr. Ahlers inquired if he would have to bulkhead the entire

advised him that it would be wise 2o do so for his own- good.
On motion by Mr. Grebe, seconded by Mr.o Raynor, it was

to the Southold Town Board an increase in'the salary of Lawrence
Tuthill, ToWn'Engineer. He is presently receiving $25.00 for

The Planning Board recommends that he receive $40.00 for the
first 10 acres and $3.50 for each additional acre thereafter.
The Planning Board feels that this would be a reasonable
increase due to the fact that under our present requirements
