Clerk,s Office~ Malta Road, Southold~ New York.
There were present: Messrs. John Wick~ham~ Chairman~
Henry Moisa~ Alfred Grebe, Archibald You~.
Also present: Messrs. Howard M. Terry~ Building In-
spector~ Robert W. Tasker~ Town Attorney~ Parker Wickham.
Absent: ~@. Otto Van Tuyi~ Cons~iting Engineer.

ed as submitted~
The petition of Dante A. Lorti for a change of zone
xcrom 'A" RasidentiaI-Agricultural to "B" Business District
certain real property.situated at New Suffolk~ New York~
and~o?ud~e~ no~th by land of R. Walty~ east by Second Street,
sou~n oy Main S~reet~ and west by ls~ad o~ Lecb~anski, The
To~_ Board's Resolution rec~on~mended the change be made from
~'~' Re~identis~-Agricultura~_ to "!? M~itip!e Residence~ in
±zeu ox "A" to ~B" Business. It w~s f~ther resolved by the
Southold Town Pla~ming Board

dations and report to the To%~a Board on this matter.
The Planning Board held considerable discussion relative
to the change from "B" Business to "M" Multiple Residence as
suggested by the To%~a Board. M~. Young officially wished to
be recorded in opposition to an "M" zone and in favor of a
"B" zone as originally reco-~ended by the Planning Bosmd to
the To%m Board~ and. upon motion of Mr, Yo~uug~ seconded by ~@,
Grebe and carried it was
~OLVED that the Pia~ing Board investigate further into
the co°~uter~propoSal of the To%~ Board and again look at the
Property~ and ~a conSidering the matter it was further Resolved
that a letter be forwarded to M~. Lorti informiD~ him of the
$outhoid To~a Boards motion and asking his feelings about an
'~I~ District which would rule out a "B" Business District on
his property, The uses allowed in an ~'M" District were set-
forth in the ~_etter for Mr, Lorries information~ and his w ~
p~ omp ~

Due to the fact M~. Lo,ti is in New Jersey and unable to
come out to ~outhold until August~ Mr, John Wickham~ Chairman~
contacted ~@, William Beebe~ agent for ~ ~orti and informed
him of the To~na Board's action~
