There were present: Messrs. Archibald Young~ Acting Chairman, Henry Moisa~ Alfred Grebe and William Unkelbach. Also present: ~ssrs. Howar~ M. Stars asked for tentative approval of the map on f~le in order that he might start cutting the roads at this tJ~e. Southold Town Planning Board -2~ December l~ 1959 On'motion of Mr. Grebe~ seconded by Mr. Unke!bach and carried, i~ was RE~0LVED that the Pla~uingBoard recommend to N~o Stars that he ha'~e the map redra-~n showing the exact location and width of the proposed road and submit same at the next regu~sr meeting of the Board. On motion of ¥~. Grebe~ seconded by l~r. Unkelbach and carried, the minutes of the Meeting of November 17, 19~9~ were approved as submitted. Mr. Grebe reported that the Race Point Association wished the matter of the z0ni~g of Fort H. G. Wright property held over until further notice. The Planning Board received a letter from William Eickham~ Esq. stating that they-wished to withdraw the application of Janet David for a change ef Zone on-the David property at Peeonic~ New York~ On motion of Mr. Moisa, seconded by Mr. Grebe and carried~ it was R_~0LVED that the planning Board reco~end to the Town Board that the $25.00 fee be returned to Mr. Wickham as there has been no action t~ken on this matter. The Planning Board~received an acknowledgement of their letter to N~s. Muddeman~ sent at the time of Mr. John Muddeman's death. The notewas ordered filed. The report of the Building Inspector relative to the Zoning Convention was read. Upon motion of Mr. Grebe~ seconded by Mr. Ur~kelbach and carried~ it was RE~OLV~D that Mr. Terry be commended for his excellent and informative report of the proceedings. It was ~d by Mr.. Our members gaine~ a great deal from it. They ~ished, however~ to submit one constructive criticism. It is felt that greater stress should beep laced' upon the Planning Boards attendance~ P as a let Of constructive work can be done rior to cases going before the Board of Appeals. The Planning Board received notification from the Town ~outhold Town Planning Board -3- December l~, 1959 Board that the pet±tion of Arlin DeG~imaraes for a change of zone from "Au Residential ~_d Agric~<ural District to "B" Buziness District was granted effective December 19~ 19~9o Notification was also received tha~ the petition of Henry G. Wenzel, Jr.~ for a change of ~ne from ,A~, Residential and AgricultUral Property to "B"~Busine~s District was granted on Parcel No. I on the south side of Co~zuty Highway 27A effective December 19, 19~9. A letter was received from the ~ffolk COunty Pl~o~ing Board transmitti~ a Copy of a'resolution adopted'by the ~uffolkCountyB~r~ of ~upervisors on November 30~ 19~9 which establishes the u0fficial Highway Map~ (adop~ted ~pril 27~ 1936 u~d~r Section ~20~b of the HighwayLaw) a~ ~he "Official Co~yMap~ ~uderBeCtion2~9h of the General~ktuicipal Law. This letter ~ud r~solution was ordered filed with the Outline and report received by the Planning Board dated September ll, 19~9. Southoid To~m Planning Board -~- December 1~, 19~9 On motion of Mr. Unkelbach~ seconded by Mr. Grebe and c.arried~ it RESOLV~D that a letter be forwarded to Mr. Grabie request- ing that he be present ~t the' next meeting of the Plan~ing Board and in the meantime endeavor to secure the other three signatures he indicates are lacking from the petition. It was also~0L~ that a letter be forwarded to Robert Wo Tasker~ Esq.~ Towa'Attorney, requesting that he also be present at the next meeting.
