A regm~lar meeting of the Sou~hold Town Planning Board was held on
August 19, 1958 in the Town Clerk's Office, $outhold, New York at 8:00 p.m.
There were present: Nessers John~icFdaam , Chairman; Harold R. Reeve,
Henry F. Noisa, Alfred Grebe, and Archibald N. yo~_uE.
A_lso present were ~ssers Otto,. Van Tuyl, Howard N. Terry, Building
inspector, Robert~. Tasker, Town Counsel.
~e Clerk read the ~inntes of the J~ly 15, 1958 meet~ugwhichwere
approved by themembers.
In the ~atter of petition of Eugene Puskarz of Ne~v Britian, CoD~uecticut,
for a change of zone from a&~ Residential and ~gric~ltural District to
~M~1 Multiple ReSidence District certain real property situated at Nadelane
&venue, Y~sher's Island and more particularly bounded and described as follows:
South by ~Nadelane ~venue - West by George Griffin - North by Henry Zabolowski
East by Katherine Stone.. It was the deter~uation of the Planning Board to:
RESOLVE, That the Board recom~e~ the above application to the Town
Board for aoproval.
~e Platting Board received a Sub Division from Helen G. Cochran for
certain real property located and bounded as follows: PARCEL II, ~ll that
certain tract or ~rcel of land, situate, lyi_ng an~ being at Bay Eiew~ near

~ap attached. It was the determination of the Planning Board to:

and return the $25 fee to Nrs. Clark in the event ~hat the petition be withheld and the

RESOLVE, That the Planning Board recommend to the Town Board that the change from ~&~
Residential and Agricultural District to ~G~ industrial District be granted~ however, it
was the deter~dnation of the Board to hold up the petition ~ntil a wore complete a~ accurate
descriotion of the property involved be included ~_n the oetition.

hold up ~his pstition until a more accurate description of the property involved be included
in the petition.
in the matter of the aopZication of Valentine Ruch IV, rssiding at Southo!d regarding
certain real property situated at'North Road~ Arshamom~oque and m~ore ~oarticularly bo~uded
and described as follows: (1) Easterly by Teves and lands now or formerly Nerkel~ Southerly
by J. H. Cassidy, ~esterlyby lands of others anda private road~ and Northerly by the North

Road and (2) a parcel bounded northerly by the North Road, ~esterly by Hass and the Arsh-
amo~oq?~e· Pond to lands of Hines, and Southerly along Hines~ line to private road above men-
tioned, the Easter~ boundary° ~r~ Ruch desires to rezoneboth parcels from~ the present
category to ~'km Eultiple Residence District, or as an alternative~ to similarly rezone
that portion of both parcels lying North of a line 400~ South of the North Road ar~ parallel
thereto° it was the determination of the Board to:
RESOLVE~ That the Placating Bpard have the Chairman write ~o R~_ch a letter~ requesting
a detailed description of each parcel~ i.e.~ in fact for each bo~udary line. This description
to be ~ade on the pStition as well as on the ~ap. The Board decided to
~ ~ this application
until the ~ext meeting.
A special meeting was held on Fishers ~ island~ ~ug~st 19, 1958 a.m. regarding certain
property located on the Island known as the Fort. (Held for further study and consideration. )
The ~_anning Board was asked to take actica on the Proposed Zoning Ordinance. ~mendments
at this meeting~ but it was the determination of the Board to:

held for further study.
The next F~eting of the Southold Town Plar~Eng Beard will be held on September 16, 1958
