MINUTES
Present were:
Dick Ryan, Ray Huntington, Fred Lee, Reed Jarvis,
Brian Murphy, Marian Sumner (PLT) and Coordinator
Melissa Spiro.
The Minutes of the November 13, 2000 meeting were accepted as drafted.
Work Session -
New Applications/Inquiries:
PLT inquiry on behalf of Lettieri - 31-5-1.2 - 14.3 acres - PLT in long
term contact, indicates possible fee sale as open space. LPC indicated
interest. Application encouraged.
Applications in Process:
Cullinane - 19-1-1.2 - Awaiting letter from applicant concerning subdivision
plans. Closure uncertain.
Manor Grove- 53-1-1.2 - Appraisal review continued to 12/11/00.
Hubbard gifts - (55-5-11.1 and others) - Closure anticipated within 2000.
Neuer/Sutermeister - 56-1-6 - Closure anticipated in 2000 w/o County
participation.
Fred cjift - 56-4-4 - Anticipate closure this week.
Doroski Family Partnership' 69-1-9 - Anticipate closure in early 2001.
Blum- 75-5-1 - Negotiations ongoing (Ryan).
Simon - 86-1-10.9 - Negotiations ongoing (Spiro).
Schreiber - 95-I-4 - Awaiting subdivision approval. Anticipate public
hearing in 2001.
Goerler - 96-3-4.1 - anticipate closure in early 2001.
Jenkins - 102-2-2.3 - anticipate closure in mid 2001
Scott - 102-2-23 - LPC authorized coordinator to schedule public hearing
in January.
Starkie - 96-3-2 - LPC authorized coordinator to schedule public hearing
in January.
McGunni~le - 106-6-14 - i~egotiations ongoing (Ryan).
J & C Sidor - 107-10-6 - anticipate closure in early 2001.
Pollio - 108-1-1.1 - anticipate closure by Suffolk County. PLT-County
facilitator.
Elak - 115-8-3.1 - Awaiting appraisal.
Other Business:
Letter received from Suffolk Planning correcting the Greenways list to
add nine parcels per Southold request. Melissa Spiro has further coordinated
these parcels with the County Real Estate Department and other,s effected.
Five points of recommended policy for CPF implementation were discussed.
Point 1 regarding "parcel" and point 2 regarding "easements" will be advanced
to a Town Board work session with the aid of a position paper prepared by
Melissa Spiro. Any additional LPC comment is due to the coordinator by
11/30. Point 3 regarding "Exemption Approval" and Point 4 regarding
"Exemption Signature" appear to be in de facto operation. Ways to advance
Point 5 "Audit Mechanism" were discussed.
