Met with a fourth candidate who is interested in reselling his unit. · Issued Certificate of Eligibility to resident living in affordable rental unit created through Accessory Apt. legislation. Youth Bureau: · Facilitated Youth Bureau Board and Youth Advisory Council (YAC) meetings and disseminated minutes. · Attended Youth Services Network meeting at Southampton Youth Bureau. · Participated in two East End youth leadership meetings. · Attended "Students Against Destructive Decisions" sign unveiling at Mattituck High School. · Meeting with North Fork School Business Advisory Board. · Preparation of paperwork for Suffolk County Department of Labor "Summer Works" program for youth. Loss Control Proqram and Executive Safety Committee: · Meeting with Jen Andaloro to discuss addressing PESH violations and amendments to the Town's Workplace Violence Prevention Plan. · Committee meeting that featured presentation by Hello Alert regarding surveillance technologies for Town buildings. · Meeting with new National EAP representative to discuss preparation of annual Workplace Violence Prevention training for Town staff. Community Development: · With Jim McMahon, meeting with Tanya Palmore, North Fork Housing Alliance, regarding timeliness of expenditures for HUD home improvement program. Comprehensive Plan: · Two team meetings regarding review of feedback from the public regarding the Agriculture Chapter. · Meeting with residents of Fishers Island to discuss the following chapters: Agriculture, Housing and Parks and Recreation. Continued preparation of Human Services chapter that included meeting with Karen McLaughlin and human service providers who currently receive or have received funding from the Town to discuss their role in providing services, perceived needs and trends. Economic Development: · Prepared agendas and disseminated minutes of the May 3rd, May 17th and May 31st meetings of the Economic Development Committee (EDC). · Meeting with newly appointed "Business Liaison" to provide assistance in developing goals and objectives for the year. · With EDC member Linton Duell, attended Southold Rotary meeting to discuss the EDC's business retention survey. Other: · For the website development committee, developed brief descriptions of mission statements, goals and objectives for committees lacking information on the Town's website.
