The estimates quoted for land were verylow, other figures
quoted appeared to be on the low side. His proposals for~purchase
and development of land were thorogh~yre~ewed. It was agreedto
write him that his estimates were too low and that tother costs
appeared to be low also, and the Planning Board thinks it shouldbe
shifted entirely west of Duc~ Pond Road~ Copy of said letter'to
be sent to Raymond &May Associates.
There was discussion ofhearings on subdivision regulations
and Mas~r Plan with'Councilman Valentine who agreed~that there
should be hearings soon. Adoption or changes could be done
later if desirable. The proposed new zoning Ordinance will be
held up until everyone is satisif~d.
There was more discussion on minor subdivisions and present
system of approval of access on four or less lots. This will
be held up until Raymond · May are present at a future meeting.
Robert'Villa stated that the County is considering one
acre lots where there is no public sewage, instead or'no public
water, as has been discussed. This was acceptable to all present.
The large new land use map which Raymund &MayAssociates
left on the wall was looked over and some-comments were noted
on the traceing paper overlay. Most wanted to .have Raymond &
May'Assoc/ates present when more comments are made.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30
