productive and the Town Board approved hire of Business Liaison.
Amend Survey: lan will edit survey to include an additional question regarding impediments
due to zoning.
Schedule of Listeninq Tour: Spreadsheet of scheduled meetings with community groups
updated. It was agreed that after the first round that meetings should be scheduled with
"industry specific groups" such as the LI Wine Council, LI Farm Bureau, Marinas, Agriculture,
Aquaculture, Bed and Breakfasts, etc. The last cluster will be "general meetings" at local
libraries for businesses that might not be affiliated with other groups. It was noted that there is
an increase of stores serving Latinos and these businesses should be targeted with surveys.
Materials/Packets for Listeninq Tour: Phillip provided a brief description of EDC for
distribution at upcoming meetings, lan suggested that description should contain biographical
information of EDC membership. Everyone should write a two to three sentence bio that will be
included with EDC description.
Other: Supervisor Russell stated that at the next meeting he would like to discuss the concept
of local development corporations. Phillip suggested that members review the Agriculture
Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan on the Town's website as it pertains to the economy.

Respectfully submitted,
Phillip Beltz
