Re:
Proposed Wetland Permit for VINCENT CURTO
SCTM#1000-74-1-35.54
Richard J. Principi, Jr. on behalf of VINCENT CURTO requests a Wetland Permit and a Coastal
Erosion Permit to construct a new single-family dwelling; remove existing dwelling including sanitary
and drainage structures and restore areas with grass and natural vegetation; and clear vegetation
between new dwelling and bluff. Located: 4730 Blue Horizon Bluff, Peconic. SCTM#74-1-35.54
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of
$outhold Town Code and the Local Water[rent Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards.
Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this
department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is
CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided that
the Board considers the following:
1. Due to the high erosive potential of the bluff slope; it is recommended that the Board
preserve existing vegetation to the greatest extent practicable.
.Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its
written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
